    Have an Original Character fic, but afraid to show it to a whole community of Avatar fanfiction? Like to post your OC art or oekaki somewhere else? [info]avatar_oc is there for you!

    This community involves anything with the original characters, or OCs, in the Avatar fandom. Stories, fan art, videos, etc. Anything!

    Though there will be some rotten apples, most Avatar OCs have a bad name because of the Sues at The Pit, but I know there IS a good OC story. Don't you?

    Note to all those posting fanfiction:BEFORE YOU POST YOUR FANFICTION, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO TO [info]oc_analysis OR ANY OTHER SITE TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT A MARY SUE/GARY STU OR A BLATANT SELF-INSERTION. IT MIGHT BE AVATAR_OC, BUT MARY SUES/GARY STUS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

    That being said, we still have a few rules.
    Rules
    1. This is a community for any Avatar fanfiction/art/fanart/etc. INVOLVING OCs. That's as simple as it gets.
    2. In following rule #1, your fanfic does NOT have to have a romance with the OC. Just if it involves one.
    3. Minor characters =/= OCs.
    4. Offer constructive critism if you see some hope in a "bad" OC fic, but no 'U SUK', okay?
    5. Please, please, please have good grammar and spelling. In your story or post.
    6. No bashing ships.
    7. Please try to stay on the subject of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Yes, your cat is cute but we don't really care. The time you're off subject
    8. Have fun!
